Pollinator Water Stations
4-6 hrs/wk from when you start until July 15. 2-3 hrs/wk from July 15 to about August 7th.

Info-campaign re: DIY water stations, + offering to bring materials, including solar mini-fountains, & set them up in exchange for payment, on yards, gardens, balconies.

The volunteer to learn about methods, where to get materials. Create public info & send. Demo at events. Give advice on phone & email. Gather materials & bring to homes. Possible creative design to suit people's wishes. Set up & explain how to maintain water stations. Payments for home set-up covers materials cost + a fee for the volunteer.

3 hrs/wk. from when you start for 2 weeks. Then 2 hrs in June, plus 2 hrs at a Gardener meetup some other time. Total about 7 hours.

Help Organize Gardener Social Meetups
Hours for preparing & attending one meetup, about 5-6 hrs. Not sure how many meetups. Hope for 4 meetups or more.
Meetups at Jack Purcell Community Centre, or at Group Garden sites. Create posters, send e-mail, put up on poles, post on social media. Help plan topics-agendas, games, go-around questions, snacks. Set out & put away tables & chairs, clean up.

Paid Job. Help make intro Video for Circle of Energies
Circle of Energies is an activity for 3 to 7 friends adapted from Polarity Therapy .
3 or 4 women to demo techniques. Help shoot video clips on phone cams. First preference age 18-26, body size S or XS. Asian appearance a plus. However, other ages, body sizes, & appearance welcome to apply. Wear summer outfits.
$60/hour for time on cam (3 hours) plus $ for helping edit & publish video on Youtube. Some help may be available for clothes/makeup. Please reply nicetalents@proton.me

Organize & Lead Garden Tours
Hours to plan & lead one tour, 6 hrs. Set one or more dates between Aug.15 to Sep.30.
Plan & announce dates & where to meet. With alternate dates in case of rain, smokey air, or extreme heat. Lead walking tours to view pollinator gardens in Centretown. The most opportune route includes Massines Garden (MacLaren-Bank), GayGardenSociety site (MacLaren between O'Connor-Metcalfe), Frank St. Garden (Frank from Bank to Metcalfe), St.Lukes Park (Elgin-Gladstone), to Jack Purcell Garden.

Garden Poetry & b/w Art Booklets
Hours appr. 10-12 hrs to plan & create one booklet.
Invite volunteers at Group Gardens, as well as other gardeners, to create poems (not more than about 160 words) & b/w art. Select submissions for booklet.
Enter & format 12 or 16-page booklet. Photocopy, fold, tie with ribbon or staple. Deliver copies to garden managers. Offer copies for donations to raise funds for the respective gardens.

Co-manage a Garden Bed
2 hrs./wk from when you start until Sep.30
Team up with other volunteers at Frank Street Bee Butterfly Garden to help co-manage & maintain a bed. Mostly native flowers.
